09 Oct Clare & James
Clare & James met at the University Royal Hollaway on their first day unpacking at the halls of residence. They have been together ever since! Both Clare & James are keen runners and love going to concerts together especially Madness where they can dance their hearts out.
Royal Hollaway University has an amazing chapel and this was the perfect setting for the wedding vows, however, not everyone can get married there, only staff, students and Alumni can use the non-denominational chapel to hold their ceremony. Boy, it was worth it, the chapel is truly stunning and you will see it in all its glory here in their film.
Clare’s father is a composer and wrote some amazing pieces of music for the ceremony, as well as family members singing in the choir, with all this it made for a truly unique ceremony.
The reception was held at nearby stunning Great fosters where we have filmed many times and it never fails to impress us. The prep rooms and reception rooms are exceptional and even before their recent mini facelift, so now even more gorgeous. In the Winter the entrance hall has a large open fireplace which is lovely to snuggle up to with afternoon tea.
The reception barn is magical and is always a pleasure to film in with its traditional beams and natural light from the one side. Clare and James decided on beautiful decor for the room and you can see in the film how much the room shone.
What a day! The speeches were very sweet and as always very enjoyable to listen too. The end of the day finished with a traditional cake cutting and First Dance, Clare your dress really knew how to swish on the dancefloor!
